Silverwater Resort Phillip Island, San Remo

The resort is ideally placed for exploring the area, with well-appointed units that have all the necessities for a pleasant stay. However, the experience was marred by a very uncomfortable bed and some unexpected fees that made it feel overpriced, particularly given the winter conditions.

We visited this resort for a family getaway and while there were some highlights, it fell short in several areas. The location was fantastic, and the kids loved the pool and playground. However, the room itself needed serious updates and maintenance, which really put a damper on our stay. The dining experience, particularly at breakfast, was frustrating and service could have been better.

My stay at Silverwaters Resort was a mixed experience. While I was in a fantastic location with stunning views, there were several cleanliness and maintenance issues that I encountered. The dining experience was superb, and the indoor pool was a highlight for the kids. However, the check-in process left a lot to be desired, and the reception staff could benefit from additional training to improve their service.

Overall, it was a lovely getaway with great amenities, perfect for families and relaxation.
